Costs + Expenses
Expect total trip costs from California to start at approximately ¥400,000 (US$2,500), depending on the season. This includes airfare, airport taxes and fees, travel insurance, airport transfers, bike rental, a mix of Airbnb-style lodging and curated bush campsites, daily hot meals, and support vehicle transport for your gear. A separate ¥75,000 (US$480) program fee, charged per participant, per ride, is intentionally priced below market so we can personally lead every journey through Japan. For those seeking a seamless experience, our Premium Narita International Airport Pick-Up/Drop-Off Package is available for ¥800,000 (US$5,110) total (excluding airfare) and includes the program fee, full in-country logistics, and bilingual support from your first planning questions through your departure from Japan.
