2026 SEASONAL RIDE PACKAGES
WHEN—SPRING (April–June) & FALL (September–November)
WHY—Inspiring landscapes, regular onsen soaks, authentic Japanese cuisine and time for reflection and recovery in every ride.
HOW—You can choose a modern pilgrimage at a mindful pace, or more competitive – zen cycle co will do our best to coordinate riders by fitness level and experience to ensure an appropriate vibe for everyone.
WHO—Management has cycled extensively in multiple Japanese prefectures and other Asian countries for several decades.
WHERE—Each route is thoughtfully curated to gently enable appropriate strength training, deep breathing and silent mindfulness.
Contemplative Pacific Coast Rides

Costs + Expenses
The program fee is ¥50,000 (US$325) per participant, plus expenses—a below-market rate that allows us to lead the ride with you in Japan. Estimated total expenses (from California): around ¥400,000 (US$2,500). Your personal expenses to reach Japan and join a group ride will vary, but typically include: airfare, airport fees and taxes, travel insurance, airport pickup and drop-off, bike rental, alternating Airbnb-style lodging and curated bush campsites, daily hot meals, and a chase vehicle for gear transport. Our bilingual team provides full in-country support for any questions along the way. Space is limited and reservations are first-come, first-served.
